Members of 14 House attend monthly fire training sessions with the Fraser Department of Public Safety. These trainings cover fire ground operations including fire attack, ventilation, search & rescue, ground ladders and engineering. This monthly training ensures that members of 14 House are prepared to respond to emergencies with the Fraser Department of Public Safety.
Fire Training
The department has six state-certified paramedics and 21 state-certified EMTs. These certifications necessitate renewal every three years, mandating 30 hours of continuing education for EMTs and 45 for paramedics. They conducted annual CPR and Pediatric Advanced Life Support training for their paramedics.
